OCALA, FL – April 26, 2023 – REV Fire Group, which includes REV Group, Inc. fire apparatus brands E-ONE®, KME®, Ferrara, Spartan Fire Chassis, Spartan Emergency Response®, Smeal, and Ladder Tower, will showcase the latest in fire apparatus innovation and design including the Vector pumper, the first North American-style all-electric fire truck, and  the new E-ONE Defender Type III Urban-Interface Pumper during FDIC International (Fire Department Instructors Conference) in Indianapolis, Indiana from April 27-29, 2023.

REV Fire Group will showcase 19 apparatus from its fire brands, along with the latest in technology and innovative products designed to help firefighters protect their communities. In celebration of first responders and in keeping with the theme “Protecting Those Who Protect Us,” REV Fire Group will also host a happy hour and live product walk-arounds from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, including live interviews with National Fire Radio and Steve Crothers of TractorDrawnAerial.com.

The all-electric Vector protects the environment from air and noise pollution. With the most powerful, longest lasting battery performance on the market, Vector drives and pumps on electric power only, performing 100% of ground duties with 100% electric power. Customizable to meet each fire department’s needs and offering the same look and feel of a REV Fire Group fire truck, Vector answers the call with cleaner, quieter operation. No noise, just performance.

Also on display will be the new E-ONE Defender, a Type III Urban Interface Pumper. Built tough with the ability to pump and roll at the same time, it stands strong at the edge of communities threatened by wildfire, helping to divert fire away from people and property.

In addition to seeing the Vector this year, attendees will also be able take part in an interactive display where they can learn more about this electric fire truck and experience the quiet of riding inside.

Also on display will be the Active Air Purification System, which can be used to protect firefighters from exposure to harmful, cancer-causing toxins and contaminants found at most fire scenes. This system reduces that exposure by eliminating 99% of pathogens inside the cab – both in the air and on surfaces, delivering better air quality and a safer, healthier cab environment for firefighters.

Attendees can learn more about how the Active Air Purification System works and register for a chance to win one of two systems that will be given away at FDIC during a drawing on Friday and Saturday. As a special promotion, a 10% discount will also be offered on the purchase of these units during FDIC.

“We’re excited to showcase Vector and some of the most technologically advanced fire apparatus and innovations at FDIC this year,” said Mike Virnig, President, REV Fire Group. “We have a long history of manufacturing the finest fire apparatus and supporting firefighters to protect communities. We look forward to sharing these and having great conversations with everyone at FDIC.”

REV Fire Group representatives will be present to discuss the unique features of each of the fire apparatus on display during the conference.
