Ocala, FL (November 13, 2009) – E-ONE completes the first of 11 Titan Force 6x6’s for the U.S. Army, ordered by the Army’s Tank-Automotive Command (TACOM) through the Defense Logistics Agency.  The Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) units are valued at more than $6 million and will be placed into service in Iraq.

TACOM through the Defense Logistics Agency issued a bid in the first quarter of 2009 and E-ONE was considered the best value contractor.  The units ordered are state-of-the-art Titan Force 6x6’s built to exceed NFPA 414 requirements in extinguishment, stability and off-road performance while offering one of the safest cabs in the industry.



The ARFF’s feature a 3170 gallon water tank, 405 gallons of foam, 500 pounds of dry chemical, and a winterization package that circulates warm water to the valve ends allowing the U.S. Army to place these versatile units into service in severe weather conditions.
