01.28.10 - Florida’s Lt. Gov. Impressed by E-ONE’s Transformation
Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp toured E-ONE on Wednesday while visiting Ocala to speak at a luncheon. Kottkamp was very impressed by the 24-month turn-around story of E-ONE after touring the facilities.
“I wanted to visit the premier fire apparatus manufacturer in Florida and see for myself their impressive transformation,” Kottkamp said. “I have visited other top manufacturers for the defense department and NASA, the E-ONE manufacturing floor rivals those companies. This is an organization the state can be proud of.”
E-ONE was eager to show off their hard work and welcomed Kottkamp to their facilities.
“We were honored to have Lt. Gov. Kottkamp visit E-ONE,” said Peter Guile, E-ONE CEO. “The employees and management team are proud of the transformation of our manufacturing processes, the quality of the vehicles we build and we are honored to serve fire departments throughout North America and around the world. It was, therefore, rewarding to be recognized for the hard work of our E-ONE team.”
